About Erica Berger
New York wedding photographer Erica Berger began photographing weddings as gifts for friends and family. Her experience as a journalistic photographer at the Miami Herald and New York Newsday, where she was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, contributed to her approach to the emotional and active aspects of weddings.
As a contributing photographer to People Magazine Erica worked comfortably at the homes of celebrities during many of their intimate moments, helping to prepare her for slipping seamlessly into documenting the weddings and family life of her clients.
Her wedding photography was honored by Topknots 2012 and featured in Style Me Pretty. Her editorial portraits and photo essays have been featured in Time, Martha Stewart Living, Life and People Magazine among others. Her portraiture was Featured in American Photography 21, and her not-for-profit work includes the National Kidney Foundation and The Heart Gallery, a national organization dedicated to finding permanent homes for foster children through photography.
